- Go to account.microsoft.com/services and sign in.
- Find Game Pass and select “Manage.”
- Select “Cancel subscription” (or “Turn off recurring billing” to let it lapse at period end).
- Confirm. If you cancel outright shortly after a renewal, Microsoft sometimes prorates a refund.
Worth knowing: Games you bought are yours; games you only had through Game Pass become unplayable when it lapses (your saves are kept, so resubscribing restores progress).
